If You Grow It, Groom It

There is nothing wrong with having long hair as a guy. But, if you like your hair enough to grow it out, then don’t make everyone wish you’d cut it.

The first step is to go to an acclaimed stylist or salon. Just look for one with very hot chicks coming in and out – easy. If the cut costs $20 or less, don’t bother. I’ve got many horror stories, but to keep it short, just spend the cash! Ask for a stylist that has a vision for most people. Don’t worry about the laughs, I’m just saving you time. Once you find the right stylist, then they will guide you. This has helped me.

Washing your hair does not mean to wash with the Suave that your mom raised you on. Spend the cash at the salon on recommended products (use discretion). Trade Secret is another route for getting your hair care and is affordable. Anyway, always use a shampoo and a separate conditioner for your hair type. Never use Pantene shampoo and conditioner – it’s BS. Also don’t use anything with alcohol on your head. Alcohol is to be consumed only.

Now you need something else. You can form your hair into a shape with gel or many different products. My suggestion though, would be to use a leave-in conditioner that de-frizzes and shines.

This is easy. I don’t like to spend time on this so it’s fairly quick: Blow-dry and you’re done. A brush usually helps as well.
