Polo Black was designed for the urban professional - a “sexy, mysterious and slightly dangerous man.” In my opinion, this cologne is suitable for day, but it also makes for a smooth ride into evening wear. This fragrance would be ideal for the office or for taking your lady shopping or to dinner.
The initial spritz is a very clean, crisp mango scent warmed by jasmine and vanilla — this combo your woman will love. As Polo Black dries and warms with your body heat the base notes of patchouli, sandalwood, and Tonka bean are more apparent. The result is a warm, spicy masculine scent with notes that your lady can’t resist. This cologne does not dissipate quickly making it longer lasting and a good value.

I have this perfume. I only use it during the night though but I agree that it is suitable during the daytime.
