Double Black is Polo’s best fragrance in my opinion.

Polo Double Black Fragrance

Ralph Lauren released Double Black in 2006. This amazing fragrance is a masculine, dark, woodsy, oriental scent that is not musky or overbearing. The notes consist of a blend of black pepper, cardamom, roasted coffee, mango, nutmeg, juniper berry spices, rich woods, and vetiver.

Double Black starts off by emitting top notes of mango and black pepper. The emerging middle notes are roasted coffee and nutmeg followed with the base notes of rich woods, cardamom, and juniper berry spices. I would describe Double Black as a very smooth, calm, and sensual fragrance (emphasis on the “sensual”) that is almost like a dark, creamy, vanilla, woodsy, and sexy coffee. My girlfriend loves this stuff on me. :mrgreen:

I love design and aesthetics, but I never really cared much about the bottle containing the cologne. This bottle however, is awesome with flat black used as the base color which sets off the high-gloss black Polo guy embossed onto the bottle.

    Agreed! I got a whiff at the mall and think this is one of Ralph’s best. The bottle looks really sexy too. I think guys will like it because it’s manly and women will find it sensual.
