Training Aids for All Sports

Gain the Upper Hand in SportsPure Flight Baseball

I grew up playing sports and even started pitching baseball when I was about four or five… that’s as far back as I can remember, anyway. As I was pondering the idea of adding a gadgets section to my site, I came across RadarGunSales.com, and so now I launch the Gadgets category.

RadarGunSales has every type of radargun that you would need for anything, but more specifically for sports like baseball, softball, golf, hockey, r/c cars, soccer, and tennis – basically any sport that uses a moving object.

Technology in sports has come a long way since I played ball. Especially for pitchers, a radar gun would be a great aid in fine-tuning your technique, and there are many to choose from now. It goes much further than that, though. I found “The Pure Flight for Baseball/Softball” which is a ball flight monitor with full analysis tools. Not only does it tag the velocity of the pitch, but it measures an array of batting stats that can be uploaded to your computer. Only naming a few, the Pure Flight system measures bat speed at impact, exit speed, power transfer ratio, and carry distance. Having your very own stats is invaluable, let alone having them in your computer for analysis and graphs. If you want to take your game to the next level then you need to work harder, and work smarter. Knowing your own numbers is definitely the smarter approach. You can upload training session metrics to your computer, build history for analysis and improvement, view and print metrics and graphs, track training program results, and rank your consistency. You don’t know where you’re going unless you know where you’ve been. Aside from the experience aspect, this system is near the same level as having a personal trainer.

Obviously, I’m more partial to baseball, but I would use many of the items available for most every sport. Of course it depends on how serious you are about playing your game, as these improvements in technology are an investment.

Most importantly, always remember to have fun when playing sports. Even more important: Parents, don’t be the psycho sports parents – let your kids have fun!

Peace,
Trent
