Buy Your Own Domain or Use Blogspot?

November 14, 2008 Filed in: Uncategorized

I started out on Blogspot when I was a newbie blogger, but I tired of Blogspot quickly. I can’t begin to tell you how much better it is to be able to use WordPress. I just want you to know how much happier I am after making the switch. Little things like “tags” and “permalinks” are what drive traffic your way, so it’s definitely something to consider. I know my hits have gone up dramatically since buying my own domain/hosting.

Purchase Your Own Domain at www.GoDaddy.com

I bought my domain from, you guessed it -GoDaddy. OK, I didn’t buy it. It was actually a birthday present from my beautiful girlfriend! Even if you don’t purchase a domain or hosting through GoDaddy, the GoDaddy Girl Candice Michelle is quite nice to look at. :)

Peace,
Trent

How much did you say the girls cost? The bike is not bad either. I already have my own domain through Go Daddy. They rock.

Aww that’s so nice of your girlfriend! My boyfriend’s domain is hosted with godaddy and he loves it too!

I have always owned my own domains and only buy through godaddy.com except for one.
I still have a blogspot account though that links back to my other sites.

There are pro’s and con’s to godaddy. The pro is the T and A! I’ve used godaddy for about 15 of my domains, but never hosting. Don’t ask me why, it’s just how I built things I guess. Great blog you got here, go metro or go home!
